Wellness for the whole family!
I used to be a gym goer. I liked it. I took classes and had a good routine to go to the gym and I liked that it worked for me. I liked that I knew a lot of people that went there and it was a social gathering at times. I enjoyed working out with my friends and talking while biking or walking and also having the support to push me thought a tough workout or run. But then I had kids! The gym I was going to does not have a daycare and even though there is another one that does I was not too into taking my kids there and dropping them off. When they were very little this was hard and I would have been called to get them and not even get my workout done more times than not. I tried for a while to go and find times that my husband could watch the kids and it just never worked and I was left frustrated. I never thought about working out from home because before it was just not for me. But as my life shifted I entertained the idea of having this to end my constant frustration with my lack of progress and money being spent on a membership I was not using. Month after month they took my money and I felt defeated that I could not make it work. So I found a new way to bring wellness into my own home. I found essential oils and a company that makes fitness easy for a tired new mom who wishes to feel a bit more like herself again. They have programs designed for all people and all levels. I never had the problem of knowing what workout to do before. I loved coming up with new workouts and challenging myself at the gym but I found myself just tired and unable to fill my mind with anything but finding the time to give to myself each day or every other day. The fitness programs are also designed with that in mind and some can be done in 10 min or 30 min or longer. Whatever you have that day or what you need. I was unable to take the 2 hours it would take for me to load up the kids or myself , drive to the gym, find parking, workout and then drive home. It was overwhelming to me but with this system I found it is easy. You put the kids down for nap and take some time for yourself. You wear whatever you want and you do not even have to brush your teeth. I loved waking up early before my kids and feeling so accomplished before the day even got started. All I had to do was wake up, grab my water and sneakers and I was ready to go. Quick and easy. I felt great because I was able to cancel my membership at the gym and put that money towards a system that worked for me. I have started to involve my kids a bit more and my 4 year old daughter especially and she is really loving how she feels when she has done the moves and built some confidence. It is great on these cold days that you otherwise find them wanting ipads or movies and just laying around. The program I did today is for partners so if your looking to be active with your kids or your special someone in your life this is a great way to find time for each other. We created a wellness studio in the basement and I couldn't be happier with having this space to be creative and have fun while showing my family what it looks like to be healthy and well. Mind, body and spirit. Tonight I look forward to some yoga while diffusing essential oils after putting my 3 kids to bed. Giving my body rest and my mind time to digest the day. This helps my body to yearn for the water I should be consuming and helps to give me better sleep at night. Cheers to a better system for you to be successful in 2018.
